Description

Sporting a 15-litre capacity, this air-fryer from Proscenic is among some of the largest models we've tested – making it ideal for a household of four or five. Its grill function didn’t disappoint when it came to grid cooking and, if you like a traybake, cakes are ready in 25 minutes. I haven’t meticulously studied my energy costs when using it, but I have noticed it doesn’t spike my smart meter when using it.

It's perfect for families thanks to its generous capacity, and the 100 recipes are easy to follow and great for those who want a source of inspiration for midweek meals. As long as you’ve got no qualms about mixing meat and veg together, you could easily throw in some chicken goujons and veg so they’re both done on time. Although I don’t tend to use smart functions on appliances, I can see how convenient it is for those who want to monitor cooking away from the kitchen or get help with recipe ideas.

It's a little snug, so if she thinks anything deserves to stay there, you know it's something special. Simple to operate, just press the power button, press the button for preheating and adjusting the temperature, choose a cooking mode and press the button, and 3 seconds to go to start. You can operate it from a smartphone too, which is a fun bonus, though for safety reasons it has to be switched on manually.

Even if you notice some parts of the coating wearing off, this should not affect the air fryer’s performance. This air fryer is modern in design and has a stylish charm with its grey exterior, smooth curves, and intuitive design.

This guide is regularly updated with new models that have been tried, tested and top-rated by BBC Good Food’s reviews experts. Although I am still in the middle of testing the Cosori Dual Blaze, I have been impressed by its performance and convenience. It’s a smart looking machine with flat, touchscreen controls on the hood, tactile accents on the handle and useful cord storage at the back.

The unique tempered glass display features 7+2 one-touch cooking functions, enabling easy control and a wide variety of cooking options.

Find everything from counter-top appliances, such as the best food processors and best toasters, through to larger white goods like the best microwaves and best dishwashers. Personally, I don’t see this as a problem; I rarely use the WiFi feature on the air fryers I have with it as a function. Otherwise, it's lightweight enough to take in and out of a cupboard after and before each use, plus it's super easy to use with a generous 11 pre-set programs.

With a time range of 1 – 60 minutes and an automatic shutoff feature, you can set it and forget it, confident that your meals will be perfectly cooked and safe. Air-fryers are generally very versatile, but there are certain ingredients you should avoid air-frying for safety reasons, like popcorn and sauce-based dishes. If it sticks up too much, it could potentially come into contact with the heating element, which might create a burning smell. Designed with the needs of modern households in mind, this air fryer is perfect for cooking one to three portions, which is ideal for couples, small families or those who live alone.
