Description

On his other arm Bjorn also bears a mighty ranged weapon: most often an Assault Cannon, which is to a Dreadnought like the standard bolter is to an Astartes. However, if the situation requires it, the Iron Priests will equip Bjorn with a Plasma Cannon, Helfrost Cannon , or Twin-linked Lascannons. It has taken many long years – and countless sacrifices – but finally Ahriman, once the Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons and now a sorcerer in exile, is ready to attempt the most audacious and daring feat of his long life. His quest for knowledge and power has all been for one purpose, and he would now see that purpose fulfilled. His goal? Nothing less than undoing his greatest failure and reversing the Rubric that damned his Legion… The following information is not to be regarded as officially sanctioned and/ or is not written from an in-universe point of view. A detailed explanation of the term "Trivia" as used in the Lexicanum can be found here. Outside the Chapter, he is scarcely less revered, as a legendary warrior and a link to the distant past when the Emperor walked among his people. Even Inquisitor Lord Ghesmei Kysnaros, and Hyperion of the Grey Knights felt compelled to kneel before the ancient Dreadnought when they learned his identity - a gesture which Bjorn found exasperating. [5b] Appearance and Abilities

It suits", Bjorn replied coolly, flexing his half-ruined arm with something like pride. "It stands for all of us." At High Terra, Sevatar wasn’t able to fend off the assault of the Space Wolf, and dropped to 2nd, with Geigor hitting an incredible 14% use rate. Questoris Ærthegn drops from 2nd place last month to 10th, with Corax, Rhy’tan and Raum filling in the last 3 spots in the top 5. Kharn holds steady at 6th, with Santar ascending from 20th to 7th, and Kroeger moving up 4 spaces to 8th. Lucius remains at 9th, with the Knight capping off 10th. Rare and ancient pict-capture of Bjorn aboard an Alpha Legion vessel, slaughtering his treacherous foes. Now he is only awakened once every thousand years, or when the chapter has the greatest need of his potent skills and wisdom. He is also awakened at the dawn of each new century to hold court at the Great Feast, where he recounts elements from his own saga to his battle-brothers. He represents the Chapter's link to the past, and is revered by the Space Wolves as a hero almost as much as Leman Russ. [2] Bjorn later took an artisan lightning claw The Fell-Hand from the armoury of the Hrafnkel to replace the arm he lost on Prospero. [3] Given that he became known as the Fell-Handed and Trueclaw (the claw he would go on to wield as a Dreadnought) has the same design on its blades, it is likely that this was the lightning claw once meant for Geigor. There are differing accounts as to how exactly Bjorn lost his arm. In one, Kasper Hawser, skjald of Tra, partook in the burning of Prospero. Encountering a daemon that had shaped itself into the form of the Warmaster Horus within a structure that was built by the Thousand Sons, he attempted to battle it into submission. Realizing that he could not win, he called for aid, and several members of Tra came to assist him. All of them fell to the daemon, owing to the fact that (thanks to a psychic link with Hawser) it knew all of their names; with that knowledge comes mortal power over the individual. As the daemon advanced on Hawser, a Space Wolf known to Hawser as Bear cut off the daemon's arm. It attempted to claim power over the Space Wolf by calling out his name - Bear - but to no avail. Eventually, however, the daemon overwhelmed Bear, and with a word of power, spread eldritch bale-fire to Bear's left arm. Hawser took up his axe and cut off Bear's arm just beneath the elbow, likely saving his life. As this event occurred, several dreadnoughts and rune priests along with members of the Silent Sisterhood came to confront the daemon. With the aid of the Sisterhood, the Wolves were able to banish it from the material realm. Hawser later learned that the daemon had been unable to gain power over Bear because that was not in fact the Space Wolf's true name; Hawser had mistakenly been referring to him by the Low Gothic translation of his name since they had first met. Bear's true name...was Bjorn. [3c] During the Battle of Yarant, a badly wounded Russ gave Bjorn the Spear of Russ and command of the legion during their apparent last stand. However Bjorn's end did not come at Yarant, as he was convinced by Corvus Corax to evacuate the world from besieging traitor forces. [10] It’s also looking distinctly chaotic on Warhammer+ this week, with Battle Report showing a clash between the Sons of Horus and the Imperial Fists to demonstrate the new rules for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. There’s also a Citadel Colour Masterclass on smoke effects, while the lore from Psychic Awakening books 4 and 5 come to the Warhammer Vault. This stunning print of the cover art from the new codex is available exclusively from Games-Workshop.com. It’s been signed by the artist, and will be available in selected online bundles. Combat Patrol: Genestealer Cults No one knows what happened to Leman Russ. Some say he disappeared in the Eye of Terror whilst searching for his old friend and rival, the Dark Angels Primarch Lion El'Jonson. Others say that, to this day, he walks disguised among Mankind, watching over the people of his Emperor and guarding them from the powers of Chaos. All that is known for sure is that Leman Russ vanished in 211.M31, nearly two standard centuries after the Emperor was entombed upon the Golden Throne. At that time, all of the Space Wolves warriors and their Wolf Lords, including the Great Wolf himself, were gathered for a feast on Fenris.
