A slight shame about this book and the other books in the series is that some of the flaps are very small, and therefore fragile. Best known for her collaborations with Axel Scheffler, each of these vivid rhyming stories is a triumph of imagination. the problem is four pop ups are the same - books and the kiddo is not really interested in discovering tiny differences between them.

Given that they are a series for the youngest kiddos, you would think the creators would plan for some rip-proofing or at least rip-reduction in their designs; sadly not. Axel’s artwork is exhibited internationally; he has illustrated for many charities and designed the Royal Mail Christmas stamps in 2012.
