With a lot of practice I just got to a point where I could beat the 120 matches and then yesterday duolingo increased my words within the game by over 100 new words in one day. notice until today that Match Madness has had a major update with levels leading to larger possible xp gains.

As you’d expect from a timed challenge, you have to answer the questions correctly while also racing against the clock. Matched Madness is definitely one of the tougher timed challenges, even if you’re a pro in your target language. I played tons of rounds or Match Madness over the last few days and they were all pretty easy, without incorporating some of the newer words from the harder levels I’m actually working through right now.I like that he has his own whole set of recommendations / strategy for how to get through Match Madness successfully. Look for the words that you know you know in your target language — then you’ll actually know what you’re looking for in the right-hand column, rather than having to figure it out by a process of elimination. So, unless you’re sitting on a mountain of gems, this is a power-up you’ll probably want to use sparingly. The highly graphic content of the books and the short stories, helps to encourage even the most reluctant reader. So, the better you get, the higher the bar gets raised, to the point that you cannot achieve the full score.

If it were up to me, you’d qualify for a tier two with more complicated vocab and more xp than for completing tier one. Many blocks have similar pairs and there are sometimes many different ways to match up the blocks to build the pattern. The only downside to the game we’ve found is that it can favor players who have a quick grasp of pattern recognition. I’m learning Spanish with Duolingo and I used to be able to earn a lot of points with x2 XP option (available on mobile if you complete a lesson before 12pm every day or when you earn a crown). Anyone else notice you sometimes have one word in the pair appear and the other word has not yet shown up? Children learn and practice, eye-hand coordination/visual motor skills, visual perception skills, sorting, pattern recognition, spatial relationships, processing speed, logical thinking, and more!At first I was only completing the match madness maybe 1 out of 20 or 50 times but yesterday i got to at least 5/6 times. edit: In other words, you try to get all six boxes (ahem…five) done away with before starting on the newly emerging ones. Since, I noticed some people posting that they have completed match madness with over forty five seconds to spare.
