I can spray this without thinking if it will be suitable for any occasion, when i want to smell more serious but a similar vibe i go for penhaligon's sartorial. Florals to keep it clean and very mild spices to give balance to the sweetness all tie in perfectly.It's a long lasting perfume but it's the eventually-oppressive-soapiness which dominates eventually. As someone who has been enjoying this fragrance for as long as I have, I cant tell you that, even though there are some mild (very mild) differences between this and the original 1994-2011 formulation, the differences are negligible.
