Do you know any kids who are being pressured (or threatened) by family members or others into doing things they know are wrong? Language not really appropriate for children which is pretty funny since he starts out saying his friend and he used another word for “junk” in the beginning and then it just dissolves into the actual bad language and curse words.I know that in "coming of age" books, you will see profanity and intentional disobedience of young adult characters, but this was just so strikingly different than the previous two books.

Anyhow, Ali Cross, which I'm guessing is the first installment in a brand-new series, doesn't waste a moment of time setting up the disappearance plot. James Patterson's blockbuster Alex Cross series has sold over 100 million copies – and now he's bringing those thrills to a new generation! It really didn't live up to my hopes, and I think that is probably just because it is much younger than I anticipated.

Many police officers misuse their authority and also judge-before-they-know, resulting in shootings of people, often those who are innocent of any crime. At one residence, the perpetrator broke in through a doggy door; this means the thief is probably a kid. While i do not read all of Patterson’s series, for adult or younger readers, this is one well worth my time and can be of particular interest to Alex Cross fans who need something lighter and shorter. I normally would not care, but I do not know if I feel super comfortable recommending this one to my 7th grade students. The Home Away Inn has been in 12-year-old Parker Emerton’s family for generations, and he wants to keep it that way, but unlucky occurrences mean money is tight, and Parker’s parents are contemplating selling.

ALI CROSS is the youngest son of Alex Cross, the African American detective hero of James Patterson's best-selling adult mystery series, set in Washington, D. I haven't read it all, so I'm not sure what other kinds of ideas and agendas have been slipped in the text. His friend Gabe has developed an app that feeds into local police radio, sending texts and notifications to Ali at all times, day and night.While it is hard to place this on the Alex Cross timeline of books, there is surely a little character development for Alex and Ali, though it might be in a vacuum and not entirely in line with the chronology of the larger Cross series (if that makes sense as I pen it now).
