Make yourself a large gin and tonic with plenty of ice and we encourage you to use a healthy slice of fresh ginger as a garnish.These include sakura leaf and sakura flower for spring, sencha tea and gyokuro tea for summer, sansho pepper for autumn and yuzu peel for winter. If they were to make a style with a heavier juniper profile, that would almost certainly become my absolute favorite gin! A gin with plenty of wow factor – it looks sensational and taste magnificent – a must for any cocktail cabinet! Fairly high astringency and quite dry in profile, Roku Gin’s flavor from nearly start to finish exists within the haze of the tea notes.

Made with 6 botanicals; sakura flower, Yuzu peel, sencha tea, sansho pepper, sakura leaf and Gyokuro tea. Fake Japanese whisky is flooding the market thanks to its high quality and strong demand for this type of whisky.My only real complaint is the low juniper (and even there, I feel this has more than many of the modern gins out there). On the other, it’s kinda lacking in notes that other gins excel in, and a lot of what’s used gets kind of lost in translation.

The experience I have had with other types of gin is that it has taken a few sips to adapt to the taste - I don’t get that with this gin, it is instantly tasty. I don't like gin paired with tonic, I much prefer it with lemonade, which this goes really well with. It pairs well with a yuzu soda or fever tree, either light tonic (their best tonic) or elderflower tonic, but plain soda and ice are just as well.

In a standard gin and tonic I found the flavour excellent although it did need more tonic than normal as it tasted very strong.

I agree that it can be a little off in a number of cocktails, but where it works, it works better than almost anything else.
